Code of Conduct The Centre requests a certain level of behaviour and respect from its students so that staff and students work together in the educational and parental development of students. Our students agree that: - The Centre Dress Code means students can choose what they wear but it must be 'clean, covered and comfortable'
- Students should be on time unless there is a good reason not to be
- Students should be kind and helpful to others around them and especially welcoming to new students
- Students should take care of equipment and resources and keep all areas of the Centre clean and tidy
- Students should always be responsible for their personal belongings
- Mobile phones cannot be used in the class or nursery. The emergency phone number is 07599086041.
- Students should not distract others whilst they are working but if they are having a bad day it is okay to ask for 'time out'
- Students should not swear around adults and babies
- Students should listen to the opinions of others, even if they do not agree with them
There are sanctions for students who break the code of conduct: - If students attend the Centre inappropriately dressed they will work in isolation for the day
- If a student fails to ask for 'time out' and staff feel it is needed, they will be asked to leave the room and must co-operate with the request
- If a student is heard swearing around adults or babies they will be given one warning. If the student continues to swear they will work in isolation
- If students fail to participate in lessons without good reason they will be isolated.
